INDUSTRIAL INTERNSHIPS
We are aware that many potential industrial sponsors have formal student internship programs. There are also those without formal programs but understand the value derived by both the company and the student. Students seek this opportunity for numerous reasons, including the chance to experience the industrial environment for a finite period of time as they are assessing whether to pursue a career in industry or academia. While the staff at the Technology Commercialization Office does not manage this process, we are often asked how students or companies can engage each other in this relationship.
