It's no surprise that organizations outside the University seek out the expertise found on this campus. Because they are in demand, many faculty members will eventually find themselves standing at a juncture with their research. Go left and enter into a private consulting agreement, turn right and enjoy the benefits of commercial sponsored research. We suggest you measure the benefits of each before choosing your route.
